INFORMATION OF THE DIVISION OF VETERINARY MEDICINE

2. Introduction

The Division of Veterinary Medicine was established in 2019 based on restructuring and inaugurating divisions according to the training major. The division has 17 lecturers, including:

13 academic staff (01 Professor, 02 Associate Professor, 09 PhD, 01 Ph.D. student).

03 teaching support staff (01 Ph.D. student, 01 technician, 01 Intermediate staff).

3. Fields of training majors

* The division is responsible for teaching courses’ contents and quality in the field of Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacology at the bachelor, Master, and doctoral degree.

* Division’s courses:

- Bachelor degree: Animal anatomy, Veterinary disease diagnosis, Veterinary pathology, Diagnostic imaging, Veterinary infectious diseases, Veterinary internal medicine, Veterinary Surgery, Veterinary reproduction and obstetrics, diseases in dogs and cats, Veterinary herbology, Veterinary parasites and parasitic diseases, Vaccine production and use technology, zoonotic diseases, Nutritional diseases, Approach to the veterinary profession, Plan and organize the implementation of animal disease prevention and control, Disease management and Veterinary practice at poultry farms, Disease management and practice in Veterinary medicine at swine farms, Disease management and practice in Veterinary medicine at the ruminant farms, Training diagnostic skills in the disease prevention and treatment in livestock at Veterinary Clinics, Training in veterinary clinical diagnosis skills...

* Constructing and developing long-term and short-term training programs in the field of Veterinary Medicine.

The Division is responsible for proposing and implementing plans, projects, applications of science and technology transfer in the fields related to Veterinary Medicine such as epidemiological mapping, processes of disease prevention and treatment for livestock and poultry...

The Division consists of 17 staff, including:

- 13 academic staff (01 Professor, 02 Associate Professors, 09 Ph.D., 01 Ph.D. student), in which, 10 staff are full-time lecturers, and 03 adjunct lecturers.

- 03 teaching support staff (01 Ph.D. Student, 01 Technician, 01 Intermediate staff).
